This week students really wanted to make breakfast- so we had 3 days of breakfast!

We made omelets, french toast, crepes, frittata muffins, and banana pancakes.

This was a busy week for Culinary- we made rolls for the RSB meeting next week and rolled cakes for the Community Strategic Planning meeting.

This week students made halloween treats for the GPA party, including: caramel apples, pumpkin Rice- Krispy treats, ghostly pumpkin truffles, pretzel and cheese witches brooms, and spider egg-salad crackers.  They also prepared some witches brew smoothes (lots of spinach!), veggies, and grape spiders.

Jerky and Jam Making



Wednesday students worked with Roxie Dinstel from the UAF extension services and learned how to make jerky and jams!



  Shawn stepped up and cut meat for jerky.

Students made mixed berry/banana, strawberry/banana, and blueberry jams.
